So what happened was, Pepsi took apart a conventional London bus shelter and replaced one of the windows with a screen that showed what was happening on the other side but with a few added extras.
When we say 'a few extras' we mean that sometimes you could see alien spacecrafts flying overhead, tigers roaming the streets, huge robots shooting laserbeams, sewer monsters and a whole host of other special effects that, to the bus goers, looked very real for a split second.
As always we love to watch people's reaction videos and Pepsi's Unbelievable Bus Shelter definitely delivered. The lady who almost got taken out by a meteorite and the couple who thought a tiger was walking down the street were two of the best.
The really cool thing about the screen is that, because it had a camera on the other side, you could still see what was genuinely happening on the other side and the special effects were simply layered over the top. So when people had establised that there weren't really aliens abducting people, they could go on the other side and pose for pictures with whatever shocking thing was going on at that moment.
Think of the profile picture potential!
Released four days ago, the video has had over one and a half million views, so not what we like to call 'super viral' but definitely effective.
