we had a real glory hole which was our kiln room people used to just close the door on it,it was an absolute waste of space really. As the numeracy and literacy initiatives have come into the school my staff in key stage 2 asked if we could set in those subjects to enable us to do that,we needed a sixth teaching area so by geting rid of the sliding partitions, and building partitions of nice wood, with pine doors, and carpeting half the room, and putting up shelving and making sure that there was the right storage, we've created a teaching space for about 20 children (primary school headteacher)
