Dry matter partitioning and leaf area at the A, M and B levels were measured on
various dates during the crop cycle, and at harvest (17 August, 58 DAT). Plants were
also evaluated for their commercial value. Five flower traders assigned an overall value
according to a scale ranging from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest value), which took into
account stem height and inflorescence length, the number of flower buds and leaves, and
the colour of flowers and leaves.
