Successful ultrastructural localization of apoproteins
was obtained with livers from four rats.
Two of the livers were incubated with conjugates
made from anti-LDL Fab, and two were incubated
with both anti-LDL and anti-VLDL conjugates.
Since reaction product was deposited in the same
locations with both these conjugates, the electron
micrographs to be presented below were selected
from those sections having the best ultrastructural
preservation regardless of the type of conjugate
used.
