As per your conversation with Khun Dhanee, I would like to send you additional information regarding this project for RTA.
This is a development project that Army Ordnance is working on and they are looking for a manufacture who can fabricate this remote control weapon station unit onto the amphibious armored personnel carrier or a BTR type.
Term of Reference (TOR) has been done but it could be deviated to suit the possibility of manufacturing.
We looked into http://www.stengg.com/products-solutions/products/adder-remote-weapon-stations-(rws) and found that ST’s RCWS looks pretty close to what RTA has in mind i.e.
Single and/or dual weapon configuration with joy stick control
Range of weapon: 7.62, 12.7 mm. and 40 mm grenade launcher
Platform movement: N x 360° , elevation: -10° to +45°
Day and night camera with laser range finder
Etc.
There are some deviations that can be worked out later on.
RTA is looking for someone to do this, if you could advise us who should be a person to contact within ST, we will be very much appreciated.
There was an Israel company who approached RTA but was rejected due to its extremely high price offered.
ST should be the one that is able to do this project due to its capability and cost wise and this project is needed to have the conclusion within the end of this month. So, it is quite a urgent project.
In addition, if ST is interested in this project, we, M-Landarch, could set up a meeting with ST personals either herein Thailand or Singapore for clarification.
