The biomass of the sea cucumbers at the end of the experiment
was 3.5 g L−1 in vessel A, while those in other vessels ranged from
10.0 to 12.8 g L−1 (Table 2). At the start of the experiment, the
range of weight in each vessel was relatively narrow (minimum=
0.042 g, maximum=0.063 to 0.066 g), however at the end of the
experiment, there was a large variation in weight, showing 4- to
9-fold differences between the maximum and minimum values.
Hence, the coefficient of variance (CV) increased from 14.4–15.7%
at the start of the experiment to 43.9–62.2% at the end of the
experiment.
