The oil from the pulp of the black hawthorn fruit (Prunus spinosa), analyzed by Barros et al.(2010), proved to be unsaturated and resembled the jatoba pulp oil by having higher percentage of oleic acid in their composition(57.58%). The yellow passion fruit seed oil, studied by Malacrida and Jorge (2012), presented similar composition to the jatoba seed oil, because linoleic acid was the most abundant component of the polyunsaturated fraction (73.14%). Just as the jatoba seed oil, the watermelon seed oil, studied by Conto et al. (2011) showed to be rich in linoleic acid, the major fatty acid in this lipid fraction(65.61%), and poor in linolenic acid (0.18%).
