The dry carbonization of CP sample was carried using three distinct environment procedures: (a) The feed was heated under
nitrogen flow from ambient (i.e. 30 °C) to 700 °C (the product was denoted as CFN 700); (b) The nitrogen feed was purged for
30 minutes, followed by closing the valve and heating to 700 °C (the product was denoted as CCN 700); and (c) The inlet and outlet valve remain fully closed and heating to 700 °C (The product was denoted as CCA 700).
