(iv) At the institutional level, HRD results in increased efficiency
and this helps in reducing the cost and increased revenues
for the institution and thus it enhance the institutional
profitability.
(v) HRD can provide an opportunity to the human resource for
their continuous development and growth through various
activities such as training, potential appraisal, succession
planning and career planning etc.
(vi) HRD helps to increase the entrepreneurial activity for
individuals. Human resource development may take place as
a better result of education, training or development of
vocational skills for an individual. The outcome of this activity
is an enhancement in entrepreneurial activity due to the
creative process that is encouraged by HRD. Thus, HRD
opens more opportunities and options of success for
individuals.
(vii) HRD can increase awareness of the importance of change
management which resulting adaptability of employees. It
helps them to acquire new skills, better team spirit,
collaboration and most important resistance to change will
be reduced.
