system-supported ergonomics assessment could
substantially improve evaluation efficiency and validity.
In addition, further developments are needed to reduce
the effort in preparing DHM process simulations.
The presented study gives some indications for the
progress of ergonomics risk assessment with DHM
software packages and also demonstrates a number of
difficulties with existing systems. Nevertheless, more
studies are necessary to validate comprehensive ergonomics
risk assessment tools with dynamic DHM
simulations instead of only evaluating static scenes that
do not reflect the full reality of physical workload exposures
on industrial assembly lines.
