Positive identification required for airport check in
Notice:
The Restrictions of Credit Card Payment
As part of efforts to minimise credit card fraud, Bangkok Airways employs a third party fraud
prevention operator to audit all payment transactions. As such, we continue to inform card
holders that they must be one of the travelling party listed in the itinerary which will also
alleviate unnecessary delays at check-in.
If you have paid by virtual credit card, you need to present evidence of the transaction in
order to prove ticket purchase.
During the check-in process at the airport, Bangkok Airways will perform a random check on
the credit card used for online payment. Failure to present the card or proof of payment will
result in passengers being required to purchase new tickets for all sectors. All transactions
by any type of corporate or commercial card are required to verify your purchase by
presenting the card to our check-in personnel. Passengers will be denied boarding if found
to be traveling with a fraudulent card.
