The volume of Libyan crude oil exports remains at a low level due to a combination of labor actions and factional disputes that have severely curbed activity at oil ports. President Ali Zeidan said the violence in Libya which had left the country unable to export oil as normal had caused a loss of income of more than 20% and if the disputes were prolonged the government would need to borrow money to have sufficient budget to spend.
