4.2. Variables Correlation Analysis
The Pearson correlation matrix obtained for the five
interval-scaled variables is shown in Table 4. The analysis
shows that the WC factor is negatively correlated
with the RD and BS factors; thus, WC will deteriorate
with the increase of RD and BS. The RD and BS factors
are negatively correlated to WS, and the WC factor
is positively correlated with WS. This shows that the
WS rating will increase with the improvement of WCs
and decrease with the prevalence of OHS problems,
such as RD and BS. The correlation coefficient for BS
is the highest (−.887) among the IVs, indicating that
the WS rating very much depends on the workers’ BS
rating. The Pearson correlation coefficients are all in
the expected ranges.
