molybdenum disulphide as compared with graphite, due to
the presence of free electrons. Due to this fact molybdenum
disulphide assisted machining results in lower cutting forces
as compared to graphite assisted machining (Fig. 3).
The relative contributions of each process variable on
cutting forces were found in all types of machining using
ANOVA technique [12] and shown in Fig. 4. The relative
contributions of various factors on the cutting force in all
