OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this study were:
1. to determine the effects of oven drying
temperature and time on the moisture content determination of unground (whole-grain), long-grain rough rice in the 9 to 22% w.b. moisture content range
2. to develop a standard recommendation of drying temperature and time for general use in determining rough rice moisture content, patterned after the procedure outlined in ASAE standard S352.1 (ASAE, 1982).
