The objective of the present study was to investigate the relationship
between chemical components and biomass enzymatic
digestibility, and to compare the effects of four employed pretreatments
on JA biomass saccharification. Specifically, the alteration
of lignocellulose structure after each pretreatment was
identified by cellulose CrI and DP detection, thermal behavior distribution
and surface morphology observation. In addition, the
inhibitors released from four pretreatment processes were also
investigated. The present study provides useful information for
energy crop breeding and potential applications on JA stems
and beyond.
