Since we are receiving lots of information that BOI is at work daily around Makati particularly on online gaming companies, HR and Admin had a meeting to discuss the safety of each and every individual of Tri7 employees. In this line, we solicited an advise from our legal partners to stop all these worries and fears of our staff.
As per advised, its the company's best interest to make sure that whatever happened last January 2015 will NEVER happen again with the same or for any reason. In this line, we will strictly implement the "NO WORKING VISA (CWV)/WORKING PERMIT SWP - NO WORK" policy which will be effective immediately. We can be sure that if BOI does spot check, we are confident that all of our expats are properly documented and no need for them to worry anytime and all the time while at the workplace. It could create a safety and comfortable environment for them and for us.
On the other hand, those new comers that has to undergo training or familiarization with their own group, can still do so provided that they will have to stay at the conference room and will have their reading materials or briefing there and ONLY there and not anywhere else especially at Operations Area. Following proper procedure like visitor's log in and pass and few hours of stay should be considered. If these requirements will not be met, then its better for them NOT to report for work at all.
Rest assured that HQ is doing their best to be both beneficial to the company and of course beneficial to all employees. We can't afford to risk our company, operations and especially our dear employees.
Admin and HR side will try other ways to expedite the processing of permits and cope up with the needs of your operations.
Hope this email will be able to give you peace of mind whether BOI is around or not.
Please feel free to email me for any clarifications.
