This instruction came all the way from Valerie and it was a learning we had from a similar episode in NZ where we tested our complaint product for pathogen.
We are really lucky that your result is negative but please ensure that this is communicated clearly to everyone in your team.
We cannot test for opened product, especially an expired one in this case.
Im sure you understand the implication if it turns out to be pathogen positive.
We cannot shake the responsibility off yet we cannot prove otherwise.
