In this case, the results of these simulations support the sup-position that organic agriculture practiced (or other types) can
increase the abundance and distribution of wildlife. However, mod-ern organic farming in itself does not guarantee improvements,
and in the best case provides relatively small gains. Based on this
species selection, greater improvements in biodiversity in west-ern European agricultural landscapes would be achieved by truly
extensive agricultural management linked to habitat management.
