The finding that several of the partly non-cognitive
tests in this study were very weakly g-loaded is
unsurprising, and suggests that Gardner is likely correct
in claiming that Bodily-Kinesthetic ability is quite
different from the various cognitive abilities. Given the
important contribution of non-cognitive as well as
cognitive abilities to performance in the Bodily-Kinesthetic,
Musical, and Intrapersonal domains, “talents”
might be a more appropriate label than “intelligences”.
