Table 4 shows B. cinerea colonies' diameters after 5 days of incuba- tion. It can be seen that as the amount of essential oil decreased, the di a meters of the colonies of mold increased, reaching a maximum growth in the controls (without essential oils), while minimal growth was ob- served in some of the combinations that include 1⁄2 MIC of clove essential oil. Essential oil combinations that had inhibitory effect after 5 days of incubation are presented in Table 4. Combinations containing half the MIC of clove essential oil exhibited antifungal activity when combined with several fractions of the MIC of mustard essential oil.
