3.4. Aggregation activity
As presented in Table 5, the tested LAB exhibited a high percentage
of auto-aggregation after 5 h of incubation at room temperature.
FB2 was the most auto-aggregative (99.54%) strain
(P < 0.05). In addition all the tested strains presented coaggregation
abilities ranged between 5.71% and 33.68% with a
significantly decreases (P < 0.05) of the pathogens (Table 5). We
noted also that FF2 exhibited the best and the significant (P < 0.05)
co-aggregation rate with S. enterica serovar Typhimurium
ATCC14028 (33.68%), E. feacalis ATCC 29212 (25.66%) and B. cereus
ATCC 14579 (16.14%). The highest activity towards S. aureus ATCC
25923 and E. coli ATCC 35218 was obtained with FG1 (11.78% and
9.98% respectively).
