High school life and university life are both significant for students. In these two stages, students have undergone from knowledge accumulating to knowledge processing and problem solving. High school years are a basic stage that students have to make full use of. University years are a vital stage for students to form their unique thought patterns. It is a time for them to discover who they are, what they’re going to do and what their responsibilities are. Similarities between high school and university do not mean students should treat them equally. Rather students should perform their tasks according to the characteristics of different stages. Yet, differences between high school and university should also be paid much attention to. Similarities signify that students should never forget the aim for education. Differences indicate that students should reconsider their learning styles and thought patterns. How could students gain more deep knowledge if they continue studying in a way as they did before?
