Helpful procedures include:
-Establishing the key individuals through whom all communications will be channeled.
-Utilizing a Document Control System to monitor the status of design submittals, inquiries and design review comments.
-Conducting periodic design review meetings within individual disciplines as needed. Schedule and coordinate project design review meetings at 10%, 30%, 60%, 90% and final design completion. At these meetings, review the status of open design submittals, RFls and changes.
-Maintaining and distributing written records of all design review meetings. Special emphasis should be placed on any revisions proposed or adopted.
