CAT Telecom will submit its plan to transfer 5 megahertz of bandwidth from Total Access Communication's portion of the 1,800MHz spectrum to the regulator for reallocation without imposing any conditioner on its transfer.
Takorn Tantasith, secretary-general of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, said yesterday after a meeting with the state enterprise on the spectrum transfer that he told CAT to submit the proposal by July 7, as the NBTC will hold a public hearing on July 17 on the plan to auction 1800MHz licences and the proposal will be added to the hearing.
