Lesson ADT 146
Task: Identify bills (money).
Prerequisites: ADT 1, ADT 4, ADT 5, COG 35
Concept: This lesson follows a similar path to the one involving the ability to identify coins (ADT 144). The difference is that some number recognition is probably-needed (see prerequisite COG 35) due to the fact that color and shape discrimination are not factors than can greatly help the student.
Behavioral Objective: When presented with a choice of at least three different monetary bills, randomly presented, the student will correctly point to the specific type of bill named by the instructor to a 90% accuracy level for 20 trials.
Materials: At least three of all bills that would reasonably occur in the student's environment. It is best to use the real items instead of props, if possible.
