The above graph clearly shows that the average delay in both the cases i.e. for NFI and CFI increases with increase in the traffic volume though not much difference is not between the graphs when we change the right turning proportions .But when we compare these results with those of a 3 lane road, though the rate of increase of avg delay in NFI is much higher than in CFI but is less then what we got for a 3 lane roads because of the increase in the holding capacity of the road but even in this case it proves that CFI is more efficient intersection. In this experiment for all right turning proportions when the traffic volume is 500 & 1000 the average delay is more in CFI but in rest of the cases it is much less than in NFI .
