The CIPP model of program evaluation consists of 4 types of evaluation, each adapted for use within the scope of this dissertation. The 4 types of evaluation include: context, input, process, and product. By adhering to the CIPP model, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the degree completion program occurred. Upon review of collected data, the researcher produced a summation of the results with attention to research on adult learners and degree completion programs. Several statistical methods were used to answer the research questions. These included the Cronbach's alpha statistic to test overall reliability of the survey and subsections. Cross tabulation of responses, descriptive measures (mean and mode), as well as frequency distributions for survey items were produced. Further statistical testing included ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis to see if variance in specific data could be explained by group membership. Lastly, Cohen's Kappa was used to describe overall agreement between the student and faculty/staff open response surveys.
