From May to December, this walk is mostly along a rough gravel track, and does drop into a valley and back up the other side, but we go at a relaxed pace and take our time, so it is usually suitable for all ages and abilities. Between February and April however, the visit varies a lot as it is dependent on where the free-ranging reindeer are, and is likely to be a 30 minute walk over rough, snowy and icy terrain, so you must be well equipped with appropriate clothing and footwear, and have a fair level of fitness.
