2.2. Results
The data were analyzed using the statistical package SPSS for Windows 12. All univariate repeated measure analyses of variance were corrected for violation of the sphericity assumption Huynh–Feldt (Jennings, 1987). The behavioral data were analyzed by a general linear model (GLM) univariate analysis with the factor variables of group (CG, SM, MS, MM) and gender. For the ERD/ERS and ApEn measures a GLM for repeated measures for each frequency band was calculated. The factors and their levels were: time (5 × 1000 ms); hemisphere (left, right); area (frontal, central, parietal); group (CG, SM, MS, MM). All between group differences were analyzed for correctly and incorrectly solved tasks, only trials in which the participant gave no answer were excluded from the analysis. Between group differences were analyzed with Tukey post hoc tests. Only statistically significant differences relating to the factor group are reported.
