In this experiment, the plants grown
in shaded conditions exhibited lower F0 values and higher Fm values
than those unshaded ones (Tables 1and 2). These results of florescence
were consistent with those of Chl contents and showed their
adaptability to shading. However, the Fv/Fm values changed slightly
over all time points which implied that the potential photosynthetic
capacity of jasmine was not sensitive to different light irradiances
(Tables 1and 2). These results confirmed the reports in soybean by
Henriques [26] and Van Heerden et al. [27] that the Fv/Fm is not
a sensitive parameter for the assessment of light stress.
