Elie Saab’s collection was inspired by his childhood in 1960s Beirut, where extravagant dressing was the norm. While it was full of his signature tonal gowns
with intricate embroidery, embellishments and sheers, he also included a bold watercolour floral inspired by a tulip-print dress that his mother once wore.
Elegant, sophisticated gowns were contrasted by sexy sheer and beaded jumpsuits and flirty flared minidresses.
