Third, some people argue that an integrated resort is aeuphemistic term for a casino and if this is the case then tourists’satisfaction with casino should be the dominating factor in termsof their customer loyalty to the resort. However, this study takesthe view that these entities are complex providers of a rangeof services within which casinos play an important but not nec-essarily a dominant role. The central argument of the study isthat an understanding of the interlinked services consumptionhas management implications, not least with regard to marketingand the search for new customers and the retention of existingones.
