For the first time, nanotube CdS-CdTe solar cells were
fabricated and characterized, with a CdTe absorber
filling the inner core space and intertube space of
CdS nanotubes. We grew CdS nanotubes with an
inner diameter, wall thickness, and intertube spacing
of 35, 20, and 35 nm respectively.
