Based on the results of Menopause Bingo and the evaluation form, it was determined
that both group goals were achieved. Each group member voiced an enhanced confidence
in her body image and was able to name at least one person she could talk freely to
aboutmenopause. One hundred percent of the group members rated the group sessions as
very satisfying and the content as always easy to understand. Group members also rated
their knowledge base of menopause as good. When asked what they enjoyed most about
the group sessions, members wrote “learning about our bodies” and “sharing knowledge
and experiences with each other.” Additional comments recorded on the evaluation form
included, “Things that I never talk to anyone about came out in the open” and “These sessions
need to be shared with otherwomen because of the lack of information out there.”
