The early front-runner to be Bangkok's new governor is losing out in the opinion polls ahead of Sunday's vote.
At the start of the campaign six weeks ago Sudarat Keyuraphon, a female politician representing the new but increasingly powerful Thai Rakthai (Thai Love Thai) party looked set become the Thai capital's first female governor.
But initial strong support for the four women in the race has all but evaporated.
Now, the veteran right-wing male politician, Samak Sundaravej, has a 20% lead.
