While, the disadvantages are that the Cake Application can only be used via a smartphone and to access this application, an internet connection is required because it cannot be used offline.However, this is only a theory that the features provided will improve students' abilities. Theories like this cannot be confirmed, especially when viewed from the student's perspective. Therefore, a study is needed to discuss this objectively from the student's side. Their views are needed to prove the truth of these assumptions. Based on the information that has been presented, the researcher saw that there is something needed to find out about the implementation of this app in learning English. Therefore, this present study intends to investigate about the students' perceptions of the use of Cake Application as a media to teach vocabulary in one of the Elementary School in Garut.
