. In this project data were collected through interviews with
educational actors such as teachers, pupils, school leaders, policy makers and platform developers,
as well as through observations in classrooms (Egenfeldt-Nielsen, Sørensen & Meyer 2011). In 2012,
an additional interview was made with a company representative of Mingoville who is a significant
actor in the development of the platform for preschool learning. The purpose of this interview was to
understand how the company has conceptualised and worked with a new version of the platform, a
game based design for preschool language learning
