You should not take Panamax if you are allergic to paracetamol. This medication may be dangerous when used in large amounts or for long periods. Do not take Panamax if you have
glucose-6-phosphatedehydrogenase deficiency (anenzyme deficiency) or a pre-existing respiratory depression. Do not take this medicine if you have liver or kidney problems. Panamax should not be administered to patients with hepatic or renal dysfunction. Patients with known analgesic intolerance or known bronchial asthma must only use Panamax after having consulted a physician. Do not use Panamax after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the pack or bottle.
Panamax may be used during pregnancy and if you are breastfeeding. However, it is recommended that non-drug therapy such as rest and massage be tried first.
