Soon after the addition of reagents, the standard samples
showedpositive results,both fortheKastler–Meyer testandforthe
Coombs test, which proved the effectiveness of the reagents.
Among the blood stains, that received application of luminol,
two samples showed negative results for blood (2A and 3C). This
may be due to the type of fabric or the reagents used in the wash.
Thepossibilityoftheluminolinterferencewasdiscardedduetothe
positive result obtained in all other samples.
