As it is nowadays well documented, quantitative analyticalmethods based on NMR spectroscopy proved to be highly robust,accurate and precise. In general, qNMR allows quantifying compounds, even in mixtures, at sub-micromolar range and at thesame time provides information on the chemical structure ofthe molecules involved. Moreover, quantification by NMRspectroscopy is truly straightforward in comparison to the chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques which require specificstandards or correction factors. In fact the area of the NMR signals isdirectly proportional to the quantity of the nuclei evoking the signalwith no dependence on how the nuclei are combined in chemicalstructures. This implies that molecules with no chemical similarityto the analyte are used as internal reference standard.
