The AP / AR Accountant will be required to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:
Oversee the receivables and sales-based controlling.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Process check requests.
Audit and process credit card bills.
Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
Match invoices for both merchandise and non-merchandise.
Stabilize the monthly balance sheets.
Process all closing accounts at the end of every month.
Reimburse petty cash.
Liaise with third party agencies such as the revenue department, auditors etc.
Coordinate activities with other staff within the Accounting department.
Complete other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Qualified to degree level in Accounting or a related subject. Overseas study is a plus.
