During breakdown TG692/11Apr/BKKLAX GHA found damaged, leaking 1pc of 51pcs DGR AWB217-47436815 Batteries Class 8.
41pcs loaded in AKE91670TG , 10pcs loaded in bulk.
Cargo leaked on three other shipments:
217-03535254 1pcs of 42pcs
217-04746490 1pcs of 9pcs -TGX
217-51098051 1pc of 9pcs
Please advise if this was loaded by TG Staff or cargo agent.
***Important check DGR manual re USA rule USG13 re maximum quantity of DGR per compartment to/from USA(which
may be different than DGR manual quantity limits).
FYI- No DGR Tag found on ULD
Cargo not secure un ULD.
Batteries were wet, non spillable type but this battery had fallen over and was leaking.
Upon inspection by U.S.FAA, there was no visible damage to the battery. It is not known if
battery had been dropped prior to loading resulting in a non visible crack in the case, or if the
battery is defective and was spillable.
Kindly check at your side. GHA is preparing DGR Damage form.
