Motivation plays an important role in learning, science course achievement, critical
thinking, and the development of scientific process skills (Yilmaz and Huyuguzel Cavas
2007). In the present study, the results show that 43.5 %of students had a positive motivation
towards science, and view nanotechnology as useful, but those who had unclear or negative
attitudes consider the benefits and risks of nanotechnology to be equal (Table 3). An interest
