Is that how you would divide your bills?
You probably shouldn’t move anything out of the “priority” columns – they are all there because the consequences of not paying them can be severe. For example, it might seem tempting not to pay the council tax this month because it’s your son’s birthday or because if you don’t pay your credit card you may get hassled by a debt collector – but councils are quicker to take you to court and then send in bailiffs than any other creditors! You may decide that some other items are a priority for you – but if you label too many expenses as ‘priority’ then you may be setting up an impossible problem.
