or baseline minus Month 2 scores, for GBI versus MGI. At Month 2, appreciable group separation was observed favoring
the stannous fluoride test dentifrice with most subjects in both groups improving overall. The stannous fluoride test group had
a statistically significantly (P< 0.001) lower MGI score relative to the triclosan/copolymer group at Month 2, with adjusted
means (SE) of 1.81 (0.01) and 1.87 (0.01), respectively (Table3). Between-treatment comparisons for Month 2 improvement from baseline demonstrated that the adjusted mean improvement in gingival inflammation (MGI) for the stannous fluoride test group (0.23) was 37% greater (P< 0.001) than that of the triclosan/copolymer group (0.17) (Table 3).
