when turning the shaft manually in the two directions, and that the two numerical values visualised on the right of the line are the same at the end of a spin made in the service environment or function 97. Next the encoder position is a window indicating the read state of the 0 notch. The following two different messages are possible: • A 7 on a red background, shown if the machine CANNOT read the 0 notch even after rotating the swinging unit manually by a full turn; • F 0 on a green background, shown if the machine is reading the 0 notch correctly. Within the service environment or function 97, it is possible to carry out the encoder test to check the encoder is working correctly. If message “A 7” is displayed, the machined WILL NOT perform the encoder test. In this case, check that the 0 notch is set correctly on the disc and replace the encoder card if necessary. If message “F 0” is displayed, the test may be conducted. To activate this test, proceed as follows: - perform a spin (message “GO” is displayed) WITH NO WHEEL by lowering the guard; - at the end of the first spin, the message “GO” remains on the display and, after a few seconds, a second spin is automatically carried out (the message “F12 GO” appears). - at the end of the second spin, the following message sequence is visualised: “F1 OK/PAS” – “F2 OK/PAS” – “F0 OK/PAS” – “384 OK/PAS
