The maximum undamped short circuit current associated with the 1.5MVA supply transformer having a rated full-load current of 2kA, is about 2/0.0598 = 33.445kA. If one makes due allowance for LV cable “damping”, then the fault levels is likely to be reduced further to about 30kA.
The foregoing is considered to demonstrate that the main busbars and incoming circuit breakers of the motor control centers supplied, are adequately fault-rated.
