During the annual appraisal, supervisors and staff discuss and assess among other things, work performance, potential and suitability for promotion, training need, contributions to innovation, work improvement, involvement in committee and project work and career development. The respective divisional committees (comprising directors, deputy directors and section heads) and the Staff Reviews Committee (comprising CEO, Deputy CEOs and directors) reviews the performance and potential of all staff for promotion, performance bonus and merit increments, and nominations for National Day Awards.
