Sharks have a powerful sensory system in their nose and excellent vision to locate prey.Unlike humans,sharks use their noses to smell their prey and find dinner.The main thing that attracts sharks is the smell blood.Sharks have a highly tuned sense of smell .A sharks can sense one part of blood for every million parts of water. Water Flows into the shark's nostrils,past very sensitive receptors.These receptor are full of cells that send signals to the shark's brain.This is how a shark can tell if a fish or blood is nearby
